“We are all just stories in the end, let’s make it a good one”

About Me:

I’m so glad you found my page. I am a licenced professional counselor in Connecticut. I have over thirty years of experience in the mental health field, beginning as a School Psychologist, moving to community mental health, and now as a private-practice licensed professional counselor.

I’ve been around a bit, seen a lot of really good bands, and worked with people from Gen X through Gen Alpha. I identify myself as a member of Gen Jones, one of the last of the Boomer generation. Born in the early sixties, by the time I was in school, Civil Rights was established. Women’s rights had grown, and Roe v Wade was passed. The AIDs epidemic hit during my college years, and the backlash against the LGB community was eye-opening.

These events shaped me. Working with youth in the eighties and nineties made it clear that being LGBT was not a “lifestyle” choice, and that the color of your skin had a significant impact on the way your actions were judged.
